I've now had this BTA mount for a little over 2 months. In that time, I've raced on it, and covered more than 500 miles with it on my training/racing setup.
First of all, the mount itself looks and feels premium and sturdy. Setup is a breeze, and I'm a huge fan of the adjustable angle built into the mount so I can play around with my setup without having to get a new mount or spacers.
However, after some rides on rougher roads, I have noticed a small problem with the mount. When hitting bigger bumps, especially with a full bottle, I noticed the mount coming loose at the front, causing the mount + bottle to "tip over" towards the back. The bottle would then start to slide out of the cage.
I believe this could be alleviated by having an additional set of holes at the front of the mount to ziptie the mount down, thus preventing it from tipping up.
If this one small problem could be fixed, this would be a 5-star product instantly!
On a separate note, a huge thank you to Wattworx for their quick replies when I was initially trying to learn more about the product, and for offering to help custom print a mount to suit the exact width of my setup.
I looked at different brands and options, and I chose this WATTWORX product for my Argon 18 E119. Just "clip" the mount on the bar, perfect fit, and position/angle on the bar are so easy to adjust.
Maybe not the most important, but the design is really cool!!
I received the BTA bottle mount 22.2mm. It fits perfectly on my Canyon Speedmax CF7 and the Zipp Vuka aerobars! Can wait to ride and see those CDA gains!
